As the most anticipated game in recent years, GTA6 may be inferior to its R-star predecessor, Red Dead Redemption 2, in some ways.
According to YouTube Games News content creator and leaker LegacyKillaHD, GTA6’s main story story is actually shorter than Red Dead Redemption 2. In fact, he’s previously revealed that he’s heard that GTA6’s main story will be 30 to 40 hours, which is shorter than Red Dead Redemption 2’s 50 hours — and that’s not counting side quests.
This time, LegacyKillaHD says there is no need to worry about GTA6 running out of content: “The game is huge and full of tons of side content. Lots of villages and towns. The main story is shorter than Wild Meets 2, and a central plot theme from several small sources is the criminals’ attempts to find a way out, as well as family struggles. It sounds like a more grounded story to me, but there’s still a lot of the usual madness in the mission. I’ve heard that some of the inspiration for other titles includes Fast & Furious, such as the vault chase scene in Fast & Furious 5. ”
Whether or not these are true will only be determined when GTA 6 is officially launched. The game is currently expected to launch in 2025.
